🏫 Who Can Enrol?

School Age

• Children can start Foundation (Prep) if they turn 5 years old by 30 April in the year they begin school.

• School is compulsory from 6 years of age.

School Zone

• Our school zone is available on Find My School, which provides the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.

• Your school zone is determined based on your permanent residential address.

• Students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place at Mooroopna Primary School if they apply on time.

• Our school manages enrolments in line with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy, ensuring students have access to their local school. Students who live outside the zone are welcome to apply and may be offered a place if there are available positions.

• All Victorian government primary schools follow a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

• Online enrolment option:

• Our school uses the Department of Education’s secure digital enrolment system, VicStudents. This allows families to submit applications online and receive updates throughout the process.

• If you have any questions about enrolling online, please contact our school. Paper enrolment forms are also available on request.

Other Year Level Enrolments

• We also accept enrolment applications for students in other year levels at any time during the school year.

• Students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place. Students from outside the zone may be enrolled if places are available.
