Project Rockit Incursion - Grade 3-6

From 9:00am to 3:20pm, our students in Years 3 to 6 will take part in a full-day Project Rockit incursion aimed at empowering them to be respectful, confident, and proactive in creating a kinder school community. Through engaging, youth-led workshops, students will explore topics such as bullying (online and offline), inclusion, digital wellbeing, empathy, and leadership.

During the day, students will:

  • Participate in interactive sessions and small-group discussions facilitated by trained youth presenters

  • Explore real-life scenarios and role-play strategies to respond to bullying or exclusion

  • Build skills for positive online behaviour and safe digital relationships

  • Develop a stronger sense of belonging, responsibility, and agency within their peer groups

This incursion is aligned with Project Rockit’s mission of helping students build the confidence and tools needed to challenge bullying and foster empathy and inclusion in their communities.

What to bring:
Water bottle, hat, notebook (optional), and a readiness to engage openly and respectfully.

Why we’re doing this:
Project Rockit is a recognised, evidence-based program used in schools across Australia to support students in building resilience, empathy, and socially inclusive behaviour.
